Greenwild design and build gardens across the South East of England.

Greenwild is a garden design and build studio founded by husband and wife team, Lucy and Ed Hall.

United in our approach to outdoor space, we offer a seamless end-to-end service, not only creating the design vision but bringing it to life too.

Thoughtfully designed gardens, made to last.

From the first conversation to the final planting, every decision is made with care and intention. Greenwild design gardens that feel right for their place and build them to a standard that holds: spaces that grow more beautiful with time and more personal with every season.

We don’t just design beautiful gardens, we build them too.

Lucy designs. Ed builds. And because we work as one, sharing a vision, a standard and a deep care for the gardens we create, the result is a space that’s coherent and considered from the broad structure down to the choice of every plant, built with care, precision and pride in the finished result.

Garden Design

Great garden design begins long before a line is drawn. We take the time to understand your outdoor space, the architecture, the way light moves through it and, just as importantly, how you want to feel when you’re in it.

Garden Build

A beautiful design deserves an equally considered build. Our skilled and trusted team brings the same attention to detail to the construction of your garden as its design. Materials are chosen for longevity as well as visual appeal.

Kent Garden studio

Modern country gardens made for the Kent and Sussex landscape

Greenwild is based in Kent and we work across Kent and Sussex including Sevenoaks, Wadhurst, Cranbrook and Tunbridge Wells. These are places we know intimately; the character of the soil, the quality of the light, the way gardens here sit within their surroundings.

That local knowledge shapes every garden we make. And working within a defined region means being present - on site at the right moments, available when questions arise and invested in how your garden grows and settles through its first seasons and beyond.

Meet the studio

Two disciplines. One shared vision: to design and build gardens

The best gardens happen when design and build are approached as one. That’s not often how things work. At Greenwild, that’s the whole point.

Lucy brings a designer’s eye, a natural instinct for planting and the ability to feel what your garden could become. Ed brings the knowledge and standards of an experienced landscaper who cares as much about the details as she does. Together they’ve created a studio where every decision, from the first concept to the final planting, is made with your finished garden in mind and how you want to live in it.

“Working with Lucy was such a pleasure. The whole process felt relaxed, enjoyable and genuinely collaborative. We are thrilled with the garden. It has changed the way we live in the house, and we now find ourselves spending as much time looking out at it as we do sitting in it.”

Mark & Sophie, Tunbridge Wells

“Greenwild did a fantastic job with our garden. It was not a straightforward site, but Lucy and the team handled everything with real care and confidence. The design feels established, natural and as though it has always belonged there, rather than looking newly added.”
